The Valley of the Kings

The Valley of the Kings is one of the most famous historical sites on the west bank of Luxor as it has been the last resting place for the majority of kings who ruled through the 18^th, 19^th, and 20^th dynasties. There are about 63 tombs inside the valley and based on our recommendation, you should definitely get inside the tombs of Tutankhamun and Ramses II who have been the greatest pharaohs who ruled Egypt during its ancient era.

Colossi of Memnon

The Colossi of Memnon are two statues carved out of hard yellowish-brown sandstone and they represent the great pharaoh Amenophis III in a seated position guarding his mortuary complex which was, unfortunately, be destroyed as a result of many natural accidents. The northern statue is famous for being the musical statue as visitors notice the musical note it creates especially at sunrise but the southern colossus is much more preserved than its twins.
